Longbridge factory Austin 1941

Longbridge factory Austin 1941. In the lead to World War Two a Shadow factory was built next to the existing Works to manufacture aeroplanes. Here it is seen in camouflage, the wide swing door allowed for the movement of aircraft. After the war the building became known as East Works.
